Indonesia's Coordinator for Cooperation with China and Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan Visits China Jushi
On May 23rd, 2023, a delegation led by Indonesia's Coordinator for Cooperation with China and Coordinating Minister of Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan visited China Jushi. Indonesian Ambassador to China Djauhari Oratmangun was in the delegation. Officials from China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Zhejiang provincial foreign affairs office accompanied the delegation for the visit. The delegation was warmly received by President of China Jushi Zhang Yuqiang.
At the meeting, Minister Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan expressed that his visit to Jushi was an eye-opener, and that he felt very happy to have a candid communication with his old friend, President Zhang Yuqiang, once again. He highly praised Jushi for its great influence and core technology advantages in the industry.
President Zhang warmly welcomed the Minister and his delegation, and reported on the development of Jushi in recent years. He also extended recognition to the Indonesian government for its interest in Jushi's development.
Prior to the meeting, Minister Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and his delegation visited Jushi’s Intelligent Manufacturing Base and Intelligent Exhibition Center, showing strong interest in the production process and wide applications of glass fiber.
The year 2023 marks the 10th anniversary of the proposal of the Belt and Road Initiative as well as the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Indonesia. In this context, Jushi will further implement the globalization strategy and enhance its footprint across the world.
